Thanks for showing us your work. You really did great work with your car and the price of 350$ is cheap for that kit. The real problem still is the gap under the new turn singnal lense. I like the idea to fill the gap like you did it but im afraid it will never look perfect for me. Every time i will see my car I will look at the filler and it will make me crazy

I know just what you mean and if Bettie wasn't Jet Black I would not be as pleased with this solution. I saw one other DIY facelift, where the owner used the old lens as the basis of the filler and he covered this with a body filler to make it smooth. Then he painted the filler over and it looked just like the original fenders. He did the filler and painting himself, because he was experienced in this work, but I am not. I had the fillers painted by a local paint shop.
