Tuning: [E38] The BIG restyling topic from the WindowCleaner

My Deutsche is not so gut so I do it in Englisch.

Reading Deutsche is no problem.

For the people who doesn't know me, I'm Martin owner of the Dutch BMW7.nl site.
I own 2 7'ens. A E32 750iL Highline and a E38 740i.



Now is the time to restyle the E38. It is going te be a hugh job.

This was the past of the E38.

What shall bring the future?

1. Facelift
2. Dubble glass
3. New painting. Estorilblauw.
4. Alpina spoiler
5. US flashinglights
6. Eindstukken uitlaat opnieuw lassen
7. Engine revision
8. Supercharger

This is the colour how it's going to be.






So as you can see, there is done alot but we are nog finished.

Offcourse a lot of pictures of all the things i'm going to do.

Very good job Looks great. Only the steering wheel is not my favorite. I think its too much.

Estorilblue ist a great color. Hope to see some new pictures in a few weeeks

The only thing i want on the steering wheel is the same colour of wood.

And offcourse you get alot of pictures everytime i change someting.

Wow Martin, very well done!

I have the same opinion like BMW0026 with the steering wheel.


But one thing: for adding dubble glass you have to change your doors. That should be done before the paint job!


And a B12 5,0 sighn is only for genuine Alpinas.

I dont need to change the doors, that is only for the E32.

The E38 only needs glass en sealings.

Respekt vor der Arbeit, bin ja mal gespannt wie der zum Schluss aussieht mit Facelift und in Estorilblau.... Der Innenraum ist eine Wucht besonders mit den "Knöpfen" hinten in den Sitzen!

Das ist sehr besonder... und custom made. Chesterfield sitzen.
