Hello everybody!

I hope you won't be angry me to write in english, but my german is so bad..

I'm french and I'm looking for a 7er, but the one I want is so hard to find in France that I have no other choice than to buy it in Germany.
I want a E38, not older than 1999, after me one of the beautifulest car in the world.
But I'm not rich enough to ride every day with more than a 728.
So I'm looking for:
a BMW 728 E38, black or darkblue with beige leather in it, and between 1999 and 2001.

After months of research, I found somes in your country, but it is not so easy to be sure I won't have big problems with the one I'll choose.
So I wrote to several people selling such cars to have more details, but it was in english and NO ONE answers to me.
So I'm very disappointed, and I'm about to forgive and to buy one of those french cars I hate.

But I discovered your nice forum 2 days ago, and said to myself maybe someone here could help me.

I need to know more about cars above, especially:
- do they have complete papers (I mean BMW service book)
- did they had accidents.
- is the gearbox ok (I heard about these point as a weakness after about 100M km, do you confirm that ?)

More, if you have general informations about what I have to check, I would be very please.
It would be cool too if you had adresses of good websites in germany for this kind of car.
(I had 3 successive 3er, but I don't know the admiral vaissault of BMW).

I know my request is a little bit strange, but you seem to be my last chance having the privilege continuing "ein BMW zu fahren".
Naturally, I would do my best to help you the way I can if you have something to do in France (I'll live in Agen, south-west, from august).
