You are spot-on Erich! Only a few mad UK guys like E23s.

I expect the BMW homeland has plenty of E23 fans, and that they have plenty of knowledge to help me with my cars.

Yes there are Japanese sites like the E32 supporter. Nice chaps, they just sent me 2 operating panels for my old defective Sony audio for testing.

Small world indeed, what part of London does your son work/live in?

I work in Finsbury Sq, EC2 in the City of London.
