ある程度の空間を確保する理由には直射日光等による熱伝導防止も考えられますが、そん
な理由なら間にゴムシートを挟んでつくるとか他の方法あります。　はっきりした理由は
未だ不明ですがとにかくこんな謎めいた設計なんです。

長らく懸案になっていたサンルーフの雨漏り修理をやっと完了しました。　一般的な雨漏り
はサンルーフユニットのドレンが詰まったりする事によるものが多いのですが私の場合は
天板パネルの周囲にあるモールから進入した雨水がパネル外板と内板の接着面を伝わって
内板にある空気穴から落ちてきました。　当初は単純に穴を塞ぐ等を考えましたが、この
内板には入り組んだ水抜き流路のようなものが走っており穴を塞ぐ事でそこに水が長く
滞留し腐食する可能性もあり悩んでいた訳です、漏れる穴の部分も当然パネルの一番低い
部分であり内張りとの間にポリプロピレン等の板を加工して張り合わせる方法も試しまし
たがこれは真ん中部分が低くなり周囲の排水路に水が流れないという状況をつくる事が
わかり選択支から除外されました。

前回は市販のコーキング材を使い内板の流路を完全密閉する方法にチャレンジしたのです
が実に５本ものコーキング材が入るほどの流路があり結果として密閉はされましたが空気
に触れないため完全硬化が出来ないという別の問題を生み出してしまいました。　今回は
最終手段としてまっとうな方法をとりました、周囲のモールを剥がして外板パネルと内板
パネルの接着接合部をサンダーで削りだしそこを半田で完全に溶着する事でモール部分
からの面圧吸い上げ効果が起きないように施工をした訳です。　サンダーで削り半田の
足付けがしやすいようにしたのですがそれでも乗りは最悪であり相当な技術を要します
２－３時間掛けて全周を完全密閉してモールをボンドで張りなおしたのでこれで完全な
密閉環境が完成です。　もう一つ注意しなければならないのはモールを貼っても水の
進入はありうるのでその進入した水の排水路を確保する事です、通常はモールを後部で
継ぎ合わせるのですがここの部分の下側にＶ字カットをいれておき侵入した水をサンル
ーフの水受けに逃がしてやることです。　苦労をしましたがこれで完全ですね。
