Elektrik: How to connect the horn E38 mfl -> E32?

I still have a steering column in the trunk of my car with your name on it.

Anyway the e32 steering column with airbag comes in two flavours. The first has the same teeth as the non-airbag wheel and the wheel is held in place by a nut. Somewhere around 1992 (could also be 91 or 93) they changed the colum to one with finer teeth where the wheel is held in place with a bolt.

If you change the steering column to the later version you should be able to mount the airbag wheel of the e38. Ofcourse without the airbag being functional.

The horn is connected though a slide contact. Which gets pulled to ground when the wheel is pushed. With the right column you can use the horn without problems.
