how to change language

Hey all..

i have a bmw e38 730 94. and i want to change the language from German to English. do anyone now hav to change the language? plz help me

You have to activate the extended Information in your BC.

1. Start ingnition. (position two)
2. Press Right Button(Check Control) in rhe Cockpit and hold until "Check Control OK" appears, short time after appears "Test Nr.01"
3. Press left Button.
Vin Code of your Car appears. The 5 Numbers have to be added. Note this Number ( i.e. AB12345 is added = 15)
4. Press right Button until "Test Nr.19" appears.
5. Press left Button as often as the added Number is (here 15 times).
6. Press again right button.

Now you have got access to the tests 03-21.

If you made any mistake, so at Test 03 - 21 only you can read "Lock:ON"
Test number 10 is Land/Sprache (Country/ Language) (0=Germany, 1=UK, 2=USA, 3=Italy, 4=Spain, 5=Japan, 6=France, 7=Canada, 8=Australia)

i have now undlock the obd but it is not possible to change from 0=german to english... why?

Because you can't modify it. It's only possible with a DIS from BMW.

why don't you just try the easy way:
main Menu
Einstellungen
Sprache
now you can change to english or french, at least for the text indicated

if you are trying to change the voice giving instruction in the navigation mode
let me know, I'll try to find the trick

my model is a e38 730 without a nav and dis..i understand that the only way to changde the language is if i have those thing, if not this is not possible?
