hi alfred
you certainly do not offend me!
it is just that this is a german forum and so I try in my best "charcoal" german to write in german. also because this is the polite way to do it. English is a lot easier.
What I am asking for is this.
I am looking actively for a 750i(L) or 745d. There are plenty around except that there is always something.
Either it is a flanelgrau interior or it does not have niveauregelung or double glasing or ...
the second thing is that there is a huge price difference between the cars.
a 740 from 2005 with <50.000 km runs from € 36.000 to € 59.000
a 750il from 2006 with <25.000 km runs from € 51.990 to € 89.000
The other strange thing is that I was under the impression that the BMW werks/dienstwagens were very attractively priced. However I looked at a couple via a dealer and came to the conclusion that they were quite expensive. (some of them a lot more expensive than some cars at dealers).
so i am wundering if somebody can explain me how it works and were to look.
what i am looking for exactly is:
750iL / 750i or 745d from 2005 or 2006
monaco, carbonschwarz or sterling grau (titan may be an option)
with black leather interior (or Oxyd braun or Naturbraun but with a dark blue/black dashboard)
what i find important is:
220 niveaureglung
02va adaptive drive
302 alarm
316 heckklap
322 komfortzugang
323 softclose
356 or 357 double glasing
403 e-gshd
415+416 rollos
430+431 mirrors
456 komfortseats vorne (comes with 488 and 494)
508 PDC
534 klima automatik
536 standheizung
541 aktive geschwindigkeit
609 navi pro
677 hifi pro
nice to haves are:
255 sportstearing wheel (i will put it in anyway)
611 night vision
776/777 dachhimmel antraciet
cars that come close are:
a 05 740i with 13.000km at schorsch & meier for 49.000 (but it is a 740)
a 06 750il with 29.000km at BMW Hamburg for 62.000 (but is black and i do not like black)
a 05 745d with 7.500km at bmw dusseldorf for 55.000 (but it has flanell grau ....

)
a 05 745d with 45.000km at chemnitz for 49.000 (but it has flanell grau ....

)
what are my thoughts:
I currently have a 2002 735 with standard suspension and lpg which runs very well. it has done 210.000km. I am 1m96 tall and have 3 children (11,8 and 7).
my plan was to drive untill 2012 when it had done 400.000km, however I am at a point where a refreshment is nice and maybe also practical. I just replaced my suspension and i still find that it is not supertop. (i recently drove a 745d with adaptive drive and it was like an entirely different car).
The best choice would be a X5 because it is most comfortabel for three in the back. however they are still pretty expensive and it is quite a difference with a 7.. (a lot more noise, very wide and the diesel just makes a lot of noise in the city; on the highway it is fine). the 7 is more my type of car.
what i have seen from the new 7 it is fantastic however it will also be very expensive and it will take a while untill they become available second hand. Other interesting cars for me will be the new 5... if it is bigger than the current one or the new V5 (if it really has so much xtra legroom in the back and if it will seat 5 properly). >have you tried sitting in the middel in a 7 with komfortseats in the back??
I see any car I buy for a period of 4 years.. I drive 40.000-45.000km per year so it needs to have little kilometers and it also needs to be reasonably priced.
speaking of which. I am finding that the second hand price has gone up tremendously??? I bought my car in 2005 when it was 2 years and 11 months. I bought it for € 46.000 (dutch price). now the same car/age will do € 70.000. (to correct the price ad 20.000 for a 2005 750 up to 25.000 for 2006 745d). In germany I have the feeling it is the same. The FL is a lot more expensive, but the vfl have gone up also.
starting february 1th we are getting a new ecological tax adding € 110,- for every mg/km over 192 for a diesel and 232 for petrol. the luxury tax depreciation will be less agressive meaning that importing cars will be more expensive (for mentioned cars 2000 to 4000 euros).
starting april we will also have a tax for every mg of particles over 5mg on diesels. (I cannot find any spec for the BMW diesels

)
some cars like a chevrolet captiva diesel will become € 7.000 more expensive. Some rangerovers will be € 16.000 more expensive
the good thing is that our cars will be more attractive to export to germany when they are 5 or 6 years old

. It seems that we depreciate a lot more on older cars. and for all cars which have been registered after oktober 2006 you will get back the (depriciated) value of the luxury tax when exporting. a 2002 735/745 whould then for example cost approx € 17.000 inc mwst with the tax deducted.
so i am also somewhat in a hurry .. if i can find the right car and the right deal. if not ..then i keep mine which is not a punishment either
The 740 from schobert currently looks the most attractive.. What I do not know is, if the engine is very different (improvement?) from my current 735 or will it feel the same?
Fett & Wirtz send me a 2005 750 but it still did not have everything and was € 68.000
Autohaus langer send me a lot of options (all bmw cars) but either it has HIFi lautsprecher (Hifi pro is so much better) or it has the wrong interior or a sportpakket instead of adaptive drive and niveau. Some of them are also quite expensive compared to other offers...
My question therefor is:
how does this market work?
where can I find what I want?
... wishing all 7er fans a very happy 2008 and a beautifull F01
