Comparing the differences we see that in the plug block lacks one mass, one plus and one jumper between terminals 82 and 83.

The remaining differences are control buttons.
We need to change the contacts in the connector according to the scheme, and in the end everything should work.

It seems that you are pretty familiar with electronics.

Whatsoever, its hard for me to understand the intension of your modification
and the practicability with an automatic transmission E32 type.

Did you just swap the TCUs and change the wiring according to the second
drawing ?

The question which comes up,
- is the standard E32 transmission (5HH30), capable to understand and
communicate with the "new" transmission control unit ?

The AGS is a very sophisticated pice of electronic and I doubt if this really
works as you has described.

It would be interesting for me, if you can explain differences in driving after you have done this modification.

Interesting modfication. You're really sure that this mod is not only a simulated electrical signal, but also a fully functional ATC?

Good question. Considering the fact you are using another control unit and wiring changes are likely to still this modification should lead to a positive result. However, at the moment I did not compare ETM 540 and 740, and I can not say whether or not the transmission wiring is the same. I'll try to check it out this weekend.
In addition, as one of the validation of this modification is the fact that changes the logic of the transmission with gear selector in different modes. This can be seen on the last picture.
