General question + noise -> in the trunk

Guten tag Allen,

Mein Deutsch reicht nicht um dass nächste "problem" zu erzahlen....

When I push the throttle...there is some noise coming "out of my trunk"
How can I describe it...like "rattling" from the fuel pump (I think this is underneath the black lid next to right of my spare tire).

Anybody an idea how to fix this problem?

Another question:

In the trunk...just rear the backseats...there is almost the entire width of the trunk... of a compartement covering with thick foam".
At this moment I am putting noise absorption plates in the car.(for my Sub)..do the holes in this compartement (about 8) have any use ?
Or should it not be a problem to cover these holes with the noise absorption plates ?

The space in the trunk is for the control module for soft close, so if no soft close installed, the space is free, the other spaces were considered for a gimmick which never made it to the E32. = doors softclose.

So you can use that space, no problem.

Is the sound coming from the trunk? Then maybe yor fuel pump makes the noise, or it is not fixed inside the tank and floats around. Remove the cover in the trunk and check the correct position of the fule tank pump.
