Passenger door locking (English)

The passenger door will not lock using the remote or central locking sysytem. It will unlock fine, but will not lock unless you push down the knob with your hand. I replaced the lock actuator today, but still wont lock. The wiring is fine. The fuses are fine. The push down knob is not binding, it moves up and down easy. I don't want to pay a BMW dealer 200 Euro for something simple. But, I have tried everything. The lock actuator moves both ways, so the actuator is fine. I even tried adjusting it left and right, but no help. So, lock actuator is ok, wiring is ok, nothing binding. Can anyone help me with this problem?
