Innenraum: [E38] Himmel mit sunroof

Endschuldigung fur das Engels. Meinem Deutsch ist ganz schlecht.

A friend of mine has an E38 740i from 1996 with sunroof.

We are changing his interieur with another color.
But to change his headliner, we have also have to change his sunroof parts.
But we can't get his sunroof out.

Does anyone have tips, tricks an pics on how to remove the headliner and sunroof?

Although some users don't even want to write here a properly German .
To your problem:
drive the sunroof on the heave position. Then you dismantle the lateral disguising. Behind the disguising you will see on every side screws...and that's it!

Habe ich vergessen zu fragen: hast Du ein Glasschiebedach oder ein Stahlschiebedach?

Es geht um einem Stahlschiebedach.

As you can see... I can do it a little bit!!

Öffne das Schiebedach ~15cm.
Dann kannst Du zwischen die Schiebedachverkleidung und das Schiebedach sehen, dort ist die Schiebedachverkleidung befestigt.
Löse die Befestigung.
Anschließend kannst Du die Schiebedachverkleidung weiter auffahren und somit das Stahlschiebedach demontieren.

Which of both innerlinings have to go lose wirst? the one attached to the sunroof or the one that slides back?

it is very annoying!!
