M60-M62 swap E34

I was told that someone in here has done a M62 swap.
I am thinking about swapping my M60B40 for a M62b44. How diffecult is it?? Any problems??

yes, it was done in an E32 to change the engine from M60 to M62, but not in E34.

you have to change the engine complete, engine wire looms, all engine management modules.
Probably it will also be difficult with the oil pan (too big).

So if I use the m60 engine management, it is possible without other major problems??

According to the parts catalog on bmwfans.info the oilpan is the same on m60 and m62.
