Getriebe: Oil seal gearbox replacement

Hi all
My gearbox (getrag 260/6) Is leaking oil from the outgoing shaft at the back of the gearbox. If I want to replace the oil seal(s) the manual says I have to remove the exhaust first.
A few days ago I looked at it and I wondered if it's possible to let the exhaust in it's place and get the driveshaft out of the way. You don't need to mutch space there.
Anyone tried this before?

First ,sorry for the bad grammar
You have to put the exhaust away because you must remove the cardan shaft.

on picture 1-5 you see what you have to do after your exhaust is dismantled.

Then you must dismantled the Gearflange(ratchetnut 30mm for long bolts)

First you must remove the saftey plate,then the nut(30mm)and then the gearflange(remove it with an gear puller with 3 arms)

Then work saftey ! avert scratches in gearbox housing while you´re pulling the simmering out of the seat.

when you put the new Simmering in place work saftey,put the new simmering evenly in place!

Then you must mount it in the inverse order.

You don't need to reply in English. I'm fine with German languge but in writing I'm bad. I forgot to mention.
Thanks for your reply. I think I know what to do but I always wonder if a job is possible without having to dismantel the "whole" car. I noticed before the discription in the manual has to mutch disassembling in a job than necessarry.

Daar kun je niet bijkomen zonder de uitlaat en aandrijf as los te halen. Gewoon ergens een brug regelen en het is goed te doen.

Daar was ik bang voor. Bedankt. Een brug is geen probleem. Ik heb alleen geen zin om meer werk te doen dan nodig.

Wenn der Dichtring noch nicht beschädigt wurde, könntest Du mal
dieses Produkt probieren. Ist speziell für Automatiköle gemacht.



Ich will es bei mir auch mal im Fuffi testen,da mein Lenkgetriebe etwas feucht
wird.....also noch nicht nässt oder gar tropft.

I think the seal is done for.
When I bouth the car there was a wet spot. But in the next winter shifting gears began to get very heavy. I learned in this forum my oil was to thick.
I changed the oil to ATF and everything was oké but of course also the swetting got better. Or worse for that matter because it's making the bottem realy wet and I hate that.
So I will have to close my eyes and bite into the matter. It's not difficult. I have the use of a bridge. I just have to do it. No big deal. I just wandered if there was an easy way out.
In Fries: Het moest zichzelf maken.
