Nürburg — MINI Enthusiasten und Motorsportfans fiebern dem Debüt des mit Spannung erwarteten Neuen MINI John Cooper Works entgegen. Der neue MINI John Cooper Works wird seinen ersten Auftritt bei den diesjährigen 24 Stunden auf dem Nürburgring haben, einem der härtesten Langstreckenrennen der Welt, bei dem Fahrer und Teams herausgefordert werden, die ikonische Nürburgring Nordschleife in einem anstrengenden Kampf um Geschwindigkeit, Können und Zuverlässigkeit zu erobern.

MINI John Cooper Works PROtotype

Der neue MINI John Cooper Works mit Ottomotor, der in eine vom MINI Design Team entworfene Tarnfolie gehüllt ist, ist eine Hommage an das ikonische Rot-Weiß-Farbschemata, welches bereits seit den 1960er Jahren für classic Minis im Motorsport verwendet wurde.

Der neue MINI John Cooper Works, der im Herbst 2024 seine Weltpremiere feiert, markiert einen wichtigen Meilenstein im Bekenntnis von MINI zu Innovation und Tradition. Die neuen MINI John Cooper Works Modelle werden wahlweise mit Ottomotor oder Elektroantrieb erhältlich sein.

In Anspielung auf den historischen Sieg von Mini mit dem Mini Cooper S bei der Rallye Monte Carlo 1964 vor 60 Jahren ist der Rennwagen mit einem markanten „37“ -Logo versehen, das an diesen Meilenstein erinnert. Dieses Emblem ist eine Hommage an die reiche Motorsporttradition von MINI.

MINI John Cooper Works PROtotype

Der neue MINI John Cooper Works mit der Startnummer 317 wird vom privaten Rennteam Bulldog Racing aus Nürburg eingesetzt und in der Kategorie SP 3T an den Start gehen.

Der MINI Twin-Power Turbo-Rennwagen mit dem Namen „MINI John Cooper Works PRO“ ist die perfekte Verschmelzung von MINIs ikonischem Design und Zuverlässigkeit mit der auf der Rennstrecke erprobten Expertise von Bulldog Racing.

Der zweite Starter ist der schwarze MINI John Cooper Works mit der Startnummer 474 - ein MINI mit Schaltgetriebe, der sein Können und seine Zuverlässigkeit bereits letztes Jahr beim 24 Stunden Rennen auf dem Nürburgring unter Beweis stellte und der Marke MINI einen Podiumsplatz in der VT-2 Klasse sicherte.

Während die Vorfreude auf sein Debüt steigt, können sich MINI Enthusiasten auf eine unvergessliche Präsentation der Fähigkeiten des neuen MINI John Cooper Works bei den diesjährigen 24 Stunden auf dem Nürburgring vom 1. bis 2. Juni 2024 freuen.
