an if you use the m30 mounts do you need to lift up the engine?

Yes! Because the exhaust-manifolds are too close to the steering arrangement in general. As the same with the underside of the transmission and the end-underside of the engine.

Yes, exept:

- RPM, witch shows 500rpm to much. I probably have to build inn the tacometer from the 530-donorcar, as the one in the E23 is rated to 6 zyl engines.
- One solenoid in the transmission hangs, maybee I just change the transmission for a new one.

... other than that. All seems to be working great. I don't think I'll do much on the car now unitill April/May 2011. Other projects first!

i have an e24 in very good condition and the hole electric, engine and manuel transmission from my old e38 so the only thing is need is time

I have not done much since last update, but it starts and runs every day. But family business first. Therefore:











... bought a brand new 7-seater first.
Plan is to do something with the E23 later this summer. Anybody else who have done a M60/62-unit in E23/4 ?

It's a 30d ... witch is enough ... really. Put on a lot of extras. But because of Norwegian tax on the car, it ended at: Hold on: 173.000 euro!!! (1.370.000,-NOK) ...
