I am sorry I do not have any skills in speaking German,but here seems the best place to try and get some advice!I Need to lower my E65 745i.I am fitting AC Schnitzer 22's.

There are not many options,only really Eibach and H&R.

H&R is my preferred choice as lowering is -35mm,Eibach is -25mm

Any advice on whether the original equipment shock absorbers will be OK with a 35mm drop?

Anyone with any expierience of lowering the E65er?

Hello Silver,
I've been lowering my 730d about 3 years ago. If I remember right it was
H&R equipment with 25/20mm. I'll proof this in the evening and let you know the details.
In paralell I've upgradet also to 20inch rims.
I couldn't 'feel' any comfort difference before and after but the car looks much more 'sportive'.
I personally wouldn't lower more than what I've done because of the clearance , any heavy hump , especially in parking lots a.s.o can be a problem to get in contact with.
