E65 730d couldn't turn on (problem no oil in fuel tank)

I am sorry that I don't write in Germany but I don;t now it. I hope that someone will help me with my problem in english.
I have got a BMW E65 730d 2003 and when I was driving i didin't tank my bmw and without any oil in fuel tank tha car stopped. I tank 20 liters of oil i tried to turn on the engine but nothing happens. BMW didin't wont to start. And I am thinking is that if I had to go with this problem to the dealer or I could manage with these on my owm.

I'll do the translation:
Er hat seinen 730d nicht betankt und ist dann ohne Diesel stehengeblieben. Danach hat er 20l getankt und der Wagen läuft nicht mehr. Jetzt will er ihn zu BMW bringen, damit dort das Problem gelöst wird.

Meine Frage: Denke mal der Motor muss entlüftet werden. Kann er das selber, oder ist das sehr kompliziert beim 730d.
Dache eigentlich, dass alle modernen Diesel direkt dicht machen, sobald nicht mehr genügend Diesel kommt. (So zumindest bei VW und Audi). Damit ist das Problem mit dem Entlüften nicht mehr gegeben. Diesel rein - und weiter gehts!

Please read the manual concerning this problem. The manual tells you what steps are to be taken once you completely ran out of gas.

Hello,

first, excuse my bad english.

You have to activate the ignition for one minute (this removes air from the fuel-system). Then you can start the engine.

Hallo,

hab das "englisch" schon verbessert. Ich bringe meine Tochter gleich zum Nachhilfeunterricht in Englisch. Bald ist die soweit, dass ich sie übersetzen lassen kann.

Naja aber deiner Tochter wird bestimmt nicht beigebracht, was Öldruckpumpe und Keilriemen etc. heißt....das is dann halt das Blöde an der Geschichte!
