no worry about the German language
Only the transmission (EGS) has been flashed - the VO (FA) will not be extended with $920 since this makes no sense regarding the other tweaks Alpina did in the B7 >>> the cluster (Kombi) will not show the right measures and the engine (DME) is anyway not performing like the pimped N62B44 in the Alpina B7 - so updating the DME has a high likelihood to fail anyway (or even worse damage something serious engine wise).
The Alpina transmission is just a sharper version of the EGS software with a goodie regarding the manual steering wheel buttons - the transmission will jump to manual mode as soon as you hit on of the steering wheel buttons. And the D/S/M Button will bring you back to either the D or the S mode - this depends from which mode you have been when you hit the steering wheel buttons.
Guess you have to flash it and find out what the behavior will be with an different rear differential ratio. But I am pretty sure you will like it
