This is a good question.
My experience with my V12 is mixed, but iam a perfectionist.
Let´s say there are a lot of parts double instead the R6 engine, but it´s also a question of the service (the main question)! There is not much space to repair some things around the engine, in this case the R6 is easier to handle.
My car was really spent as i bought it. Now i make an complete overhaul and iam very excited about the car and of course the engine.
My favorite is the V12 engine.
It´s better to drive first both engine and decide then what is your favorite.
