My E65 is a British version built July 2003 and has BMW DVD navigation.
If you have BMW DVD based satellite navigation select "perspective" and you get this view. Not sure what it would be called in German but the button to select it in i-drive appears in the middle of all the viewing options.
Not available on CD based systems. In the UK the first time I drove an E65 with this option was May 2003 and it was one of the first 730d in the UK.
