I saw the pictures on the site. It seems that a lot of people figure out a solution for the same problem.
There should be a kit for these kinds of repairs.
I still can't believe they are not for sale as a separate piece.
Looking at the pictures the repairs with only epoxy seem not very durable to my. If they are, I spend way to much on my solution.
I repaired the flap with a piece of brass square tube, a brass washer and a piece of rond tube. I fixed the part with a hard steel rod which I hooked halfway in to the flap, and a square aluminum bar that fitted into the plastic and the brass axel hole. Then to be sure I glued everything together with a special 2C epoxy. It's steady as a rock.
