On my 735i (09-88) I´m have now 178.000 which is not that much for a car that´s allready 14 yrs old. Bought mine for apx. 22.000 EUR back in Nov. 1991. The car was an old leasing car ( I knew the pre-owner, an mid-aged businessman) and it had only 54.000 km, was almost like new one... well that was then but still after 11 years it´s in a pretty good shape and I think I still have quite a few years time to enjoy this Bavarian masterpiece of engineering. Should the car taxation change in the near future, I´m planning together with some friends to make a trip to Germany and take a close look of the current supply... E32 has been very nice, the E38 could be even nicer ?!
