Abu Dhabi ist offenbar bunter Schauplatz für extrovertierte Fahrzeuge - so lassen uns zumindest die immer wieder von BMW Abu Dhabi Motors gezeigten Fotos erahnen. Durften wir zuletzt über das BMW Top-Modell M760Li in Austin Yellow, Rallye Green, Chestnut Bronze und in Estoril-Blau staunen, erreichen uns heute Showroom-Fotos eines V12-7ers in "Imola red". Understatement ist sicher etwas anderes, aber in Abu Dhabi genügt es schon lange nicht mehr, das BMW Top-Modell zu fahren, um aufzufallen. Und so gilt es offenbar, über die Farbe für einen Hingucker zu sorgen - und das gelingt dem feuerroten 7er par excellence. Das dezente Tuning des japanischen Herstellers "3D Design", bestehend aus einem modifizierten Frontspoiler und einer Heckspoilerlippe, fällt da vergleichsweise nicht ins Gewicht.

Auch im Innenraum geht es in rot weiter, mit entsprechend gefärbter Lederausstattung.

Die Feuerwehr würde sich über dieses Auto als Einsatzfahrzeug sicher freuen, denn mit dem 610 PS starkem V12 BiTurbo-Motor, käme man sicher schneller zum Einsatzort, und auf der Autobahn würden die Verkehrsteilnehmer wohl mehr Respekt zeigen und vielleicht eher eine ehrfürchtige Rettungsgasse bilden.
