Kurz nach dem Jahreswechsel und kurz vor der Präsentation des Facelift-7ers erreichen uns wieder Fotos aus Abu Dhabi, vom größten BMW Händler der Welt. Im Showroom ist dort aktuell ein BMW M760Li zu sehen - und zwar in der BMW Individualfarbe "rubin rot metallic" (in englisch "ruby red"). Das Besondere hier: Effektpartikel, die bei Sonnenlicht für ein faszinierendes Funkeln sorgen.

Ansonsten präsentiert sich das Auto für arabische Verhältnisse recht "normal", d. h. es gibt kein spezielles Aerodynamik-Kit, Räder "nur" von der Stange und Ausstattung nicht im vollem Umfang: beispielsweise fehlt die Executive Lounge im Fond. Dies sind wir von den früheren, bunten 7er-Präsentationen aus Abu Dhabi anders gewohnt, siehe unsere 7er-Farben-Parade aus Abu Dhabi weiter unten. Das ändert aber nichts an der einzigartigen Farbkombination: der Kontrast aus rotem Außenlack und heller Innenausstattung steht dem Auto sehr gut. Dass der M760Li auch beim Fahreindruck überzeugend ist, haben wir in unserem Fahrbericht bereits geklärt.
