Hello,
Sorry i speak only (bad) English but have to ask if someone can help me.
I have 740iA 1999 and I'm going to install Webasto Thermotop Z/C. Webasto is from 2001 e39 so it is bus controlled, no problem at electronics. But I'm curious about how it's mounted in e38. If i understand right, it has same "carrier/hinge" that in e39, whatever that name is, but how's car side? Is car body "carrier/hinge" welded or bolted in car. I have troubles of finding that car side "carrier/hinge". It would be great if someone have pics at stock webasto installation in e38. And also, how waterlines are routed to engine bay in stock installation?
