I already read a lot about your car on the Roadfly-board. It is absolutly unbelievable what you did with your car. Have you recently been on the dyno?
To answer your question:
In Germany there are more 740 with manual transmissions. But I have never seen an IL - only the short wheelbase versions.
In general there are a lot more I than IL, which seems to be different than in the US.
But we can let it fly on the Autobahn
almost everytime. I own a 750i and it's not unusual hitting the speed limiter at 155mph.
