Yes, I can second that. My E66 does contain it.
For my current selection of F02 it was a "nice to have", as long as it is not completely integrated into the windshield, so that you DO NOT have to look elsewhere!
But the new system in F0x and G1x is already QUITE MUCH better in comparision to the one in our OLD cars! They have ACTIVELY moving lightspots (therefore you don't have foglights anymore with NV) to highlight the "source of danger".
That way you don't have to look to the monitor anymore (but you can) and gain a lot more security than with our old systems.
