As I mentioned, I need a better hinge solution. I considered the hinge for the door armrest cover, but I don't think that will work. Ideally it would be an articulating hinge, that makes the cover come out of the hole as it swings open. Plus, if it could stay in the open position, that would be awesome. I'm sure some car somewhere has something like that (or even some cabinet hardware maker).
