the white smoke out of your exhaust might not necessarily be the headseal (kopfdichtung). You should first go to any garage near you to check for CO2 inside the cooling water. If there is either oil or CO2 in the cooling water it might be the headseal. I am not sure if BMW dealers in Austria are cheaper than in Bratislava. It would make more sense to ask for the repair in Slovakia, because for example in Germany they charge more than 900€ per headseal repair. The problem is that you will not know which seal it is, before they disassembled both heads, but then you have reached the point to replace both. This would already make around 1800€ for this repair, plus your Hotel for the stay.
