Pedal position sensor, checking and adjusting (M30 and M70 engine):
loosen pedal position sensor arm retaining nut.
Set gap of 3 mm between accelerator pedal bracket and idle stop.
Support arm and tighten nut. Idle position is now set.
Adjust pedal travel stop: press accelerator pedal down by hand just until kickdown pressure point is felt.
Automatic transmission: adjust knurled stop screw so that there is a 6 mm gap between pedal and top of stop screw. Tighten locknut.
Manual transmission: adjust knurled stop screw so that pedal travel is stopped (limit stop) at this point. Tighten locknut.
To check adjustment, peel back rubber boot from EML harness connector (also der runde Otto neben der Diagnose, beim 750 2 Stueck, bei 735 einer) and connect digital voltmeter between specified pin in connector and ground.
EML Connector Pedal Position Test Pin:
M30 (DME 1.3), blue/brown pin 20
M70 (DME 1.2), brown/violet) pin 1
M70 (DME 1.7) blue/brown pin 20.
Note: Terminal numbers are molded in the EML connector face. These numbers are very small and may be difficult to read.
Turn ignition on.
Check signal from pedal position sensor while moving accelerator pedal.
EML Pedal Position Sensor Test:
Pedal at idle position,
manual transmission 0.34-0.43 VDC
automatic transmission 0.35-0.45 VDC
Pedal at full throttle
manual transmission 3.1-3.3 VDC
automatic transmission 3.7-3.8 VDC
Diese Pins sind gemeint neben der Diagnose, dies ist aber vom M70 Motor
Gruss
