the special wiring you've to do will cost you approx. 60 Minutes.
The following will work:
cruise control except on/off (use the old button nearby the speedo)
entertainment noise
CD-change or radio-station change.

I'm not willing to explain everything here in English. Caused by trans time. In case of business I'll translate the german manual expecially for you.

But: I think, my postings leaded to some missunderstandings:
I'm not a dealer, I'm not a company, I'm a private guy. I own actually 1 (one!!!) M3 E46 SMG steering wheel, which has never been installed in a car and which I could prepare for this E38 application.

Maybe I can get another one, but only one more! A small "mass production" is not possible!!!

This offer I've postet here brought actually 4 interests, the first one who will make a "contract" with me will get the item.

Note: in the future it will be no problem for me to adapt delivered steering wheels. F.e. you buy any M3 E46 (only this type) SMG or manual shifted steering wheel and ship it to me; I'll do all needed changes and ship it back to you.
