Speaking of tips...
That picture pretty much indicates how you have to get your car to look to get the core out. The instrument cluster and steering wheel don't need to come out though.
But a good tip I'd like to share is to place a plastic cup underneath the connection with the o-rings. It will fit snugly in the corner with the black metal support bar (will be obvious by the time you get to this stage)
I had drained the coolant before, but about 2/3 cup of coolant still came out.
