Dash instuments fixed by reseaing fuses 1, 17, 20

The tach worked but the fuel and temp gauges didnt. The SRS light blinked.

Solved by: reseating fuses 1, 17, 20.

The problem had lasted for 2 weeks. The blinking SRS light meant that the cluster had lost power and re-set its SRS dash electronics.
I read a previous post about reseating the fuses and tried it. It worked. It seems the fuses become a bit corroded with time.

If I had done the capacitor fix it would have done nothing in this case, so always try to re-seat the fuses first. This doesnt fix the blinking SRS though.

In the past I have noticed that internal dash connection problems can be determined by rapping on the dash top. If the numbers flicker on there is a bad connection in the dash circuit board to circuit board connectors. I rapped on the dash top this time and it had no effect.
