I noticed in my BMW that my alarm did not work properly no siren at all. Common failure of the battery inside the siren. I found the topic in many forums and users were complaining that the battery was not available or you had to mount it yourself have a special machine to weld on the batteries.
I found a compatible battery in a small firm close to my parents’home. Only the connector has to be changed to fit for the siren and it works.
I thought members of this forum might be interested.
