ZF 5HP24 Clutch drum failure
Problem – Hesitation at take off or failure to engage a forward gear can be caused by damage to clutch drum ‘A’, which happens because of a sudden increase in hydraulic pressure.
Solution – In order to solve this very common 5HP24 transmission problem, the clutch drum will have to be replaced, along with the 5HP24 pressure regulator valve and the lower 5HP24 valve body.

Beim 5HP19 passiert das gleiche, aber in der D Kupplung, da hab ich schon Fingerdicke Teile gefunden in einem 5HP19, auch da gibt es eine verstaerkte Ausfuehrung inzwischen.

The common failure point it the snap ring groove on the top side of the drum. This design is .020" Thicker than the Oem Bmw Design.
