So, hier die Antwort aus Schweden. Heißt doch wohl, dass Laden aus dem Motorraum nicht angesagt ist. Warum steht es dann aber so in der Betriebsanleitung???

If your BMW has got a Battery Management System or Start Stop, this makes charging a bit special.
You need to connect the charger with the positive clamp on the positive pole on the battery and the negative clamp on chassis or on the negative pole AFTER the electronic device that runs the BMS or StartStop functions.
If you have connected the charger directly to the negative pole on the battery, the battery will get fully charged but the electronic system in the BMW will not know that and behaves as the battery is drained.

I don’t know if this explanation is suitable in your situation. If not, please give me some more info and I will try to help you better.

I don’t know why your vehicle react like this, it seams that the charger does everything that is hould.
