The e32 Individual or Highline was not available in USA or Canada officially. The 03/94 750iL which Erich has posted above is my pride and joy, and only sees occasional driving by yours truely......
It was custom built by BMW's special projects division as a one-off = for the then President of BMW Canada
. What makes it truely unique (other than the options) is that it was delivered, certified and officially put into service at a local BMW dealership 3 months after the mfg date and
does not have an 'import' status. Unheard of since the e32 Individual/Highline was not even an option in USA or Canada.
Somehow this 'special' customer was able to order it, how he was able to do so is unknown. I guess being the President of BMW Canada has it's advantages....... I am currently in the process with communicating with BMW Group Archiv to try and obtain some more history of the vehicle, but it is a slow process and I don't think they will release much of the intimate history of it'ss origin.
I anxiously await their response and will share the info as soon as it becomes available.
