Hallo Leute,
behandelt mir den Charles gut, ist ein neuer E32 Fan aus bimmer.info E34 Forum.
Charles hat heute seinen BC umgestellt auf Deutsch und versucht Deutsch zu verstehen, deshalb kann er auch schon ein paar Worte, aber das reicht nicht.
Deshalb machen wir mal in Englisch weiter.
@Charles:
no prob to communicate in English here, all Germans are very fluent in English -except a few ones  -
So instead of using the online translation services, better talk in your native language.

Es tut mier leid...!
I am actually just starting my second year of college German language courses, I am trying to speak as much as I can in German without translating in my dictionary, but I know that I will improve throughout the next few months due to me (finally) being able to take my second year course. :-D
I know this sounds absurd Erich, but how much does it cost to import, and how much extra to do the required conversions to be able to register the car here...? My first assumption is that it would not be worth it, or be a huge hassle...(As you stated about shipping parts)

so you are doing your second year in German lessons now? So read always the 7-Forum, that helps.
To import a car into the US is very costly, forget about that.
That is why all the good low mile E32 from Japan are exported mainly to Canada.

Das weis ich auch noch nicht, sieht aber nicht uebel aus. Verkaeufer im Laden weis es auch nicht.
Anfang Januar sehe ich mir den Wagen noch mal mal an fuer einen Bekannten, der Interesse dran hat.
